Special Bike Rally marking World Thalassemia Day

Hyderabad, (Telangana) [India] 11 May 2026: Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society (TSCS), had today organised a special World Thalassemia Day 2026 awareness initiative and a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Organizers’ Felicitation Program on 10 May 2026 in Hyderabad.

As part of the observance, a large-scale motorcycle awareness ride titled “Hidden No More – Unmasking Thalassemia, Transforming Lives” was conducted bringing together over 75 bikers under the message: “Not Just a Ride, Ride for Awareness. Riding for a Thalassemia-Free Future.”

The awareness rally was supported by the Wanderers Brotherhood riding community.

The bike rally commenced from the TSCS Building, Shivrampally, and covered prominent locations across Hyderabad including Zoo Park, M.J. Market, Afzalgunj, Purani Haveli, Mir Alam Mandi, Talabkatta, Shah Ali Banda, Aliyabad Chandrayangutta, Mylardevpally, and Aramgarh X Roads before concluding at the TSCS Building.

Following the awareness ride, TSCS hosted the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Organizers’ Felicitation Program at Maniram Ramratan Rathi Auditorium, TSCS, Shivrampally, Hyderabad, and honoured individuals and organizations contributing towards voluntary blood donation initiatives.

The event has graced by Chief Guest Shyam Sunder Ji Loya and Guest of Honor Kurra Srinath, Dr Chandrakant Agarwal, President – TSCS, Ratnavalli K, Naresh Rathi, Manoj Rupani, Dr. Suman Jain, and Aleem Baig.

Special appreciation was extended to Aleem Baig, Joint Secretary – TSCS for his dedicated efforts in successfully coordinating and organizing the World Thalassemia Day awareness bike rally and Blood Donation camp organisers felicitation.
