‘Becoming the Divine You’ by Balvindernath Chaganla Launched in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, [India] September 30, 2026: ‘Becoming the Divine You – Awaken the Power Within to Find True Happiness’, authored by Balvindernath Chaganla, was formally launched at a special event held at Hotel Narenn, Madhapur, Hyderabad.

The book was unveiled in the presence of Chief Guest Sri Narendra Nath Chaganla, Chairman – Narenn Group, and Guest of Honour Sri K.V. Pradeep, Actor and Motivational Speaker, along with invited guests, friends, family members and representatives of the media.

The launch brought together literature, spirituality and Telangana’s cultural heritage, with a special presentation of Perini Sivatandavam – The Dance of Warriors. The performance was presented by Sri Perini Pavan Kumar, disciple of the legendary Padma Shri Dr. Nataraja Ramakrishna.

‘Becoming the Divine You’ is an introspective exploration of the human journey, examining awareness, intention, thoughts, emotions, fear, relationships, spirituality and the search for happiness and fulfilment. At the heart of the book is the idea that the journey towards a more fulfilling life begins with greater awareness of oneself. The author explores how thoughts, emotions, beliefs and actions influence the way individuals experience themselves and the world around them. The book does not present spirituality as a set of prescribed beliefs or offer a single formula for happiness. Instead, it encourages readers to pause, question, reflect and explore their own inner world. In the Prologue, the author describes the book as a “compass, not a map” — offering perspectives and reflections while leaving readers to navigate their own journeys and arrive at their own understanding.

The book explores the relationship between awareness and intention, and between thought, emotion and action, while bringing together perspectives from spirituality, psychology, philosophy and reflections on human behaviour. For Balvindernath Chaganla, the book is closely connected to his own journey of introspection and self-expression. In the Foreword, the author reflects on periods of difficulty in his life, when he was searching for answers and a way forward. Writing gradually became a form of self-expression and a way of understanding his inner world.

His journey was also shaped by experiences of travel and exposure to different cultures, beliefs and ways of looking at life. His childhood years in boarding school, away from his family, became another important part of his personal development. Yoga and meditation have also played a significant role in his journey, with more than a decade of engagement with these practices contributing to his continuing exploration of self-awareness.

The author also acknowledges the influence of his father’s wisdom and guidance, which became an important foundation for many of the questions and reflections explored in the book. Rather than telling readers who they should become, ‘Becoming the Divine You’ encourages them to ask their own questions. The book’s central invitation is to become more conscious of one’s thoughts, emotions, actions and relationships, and to explore the possibility of finding greater meaning and fulfilment within everyday life.

The author’s approach is not to separate spirituality from ordinary life, but to explore spirituality through awareness, action, relationships and the way individuals respond to their experiences. The book ultimately invites readers to look beyond the search for external answers and begin a deeper exploration of what already exists within them. The launch event featured a special cultural presentation of Perini Sivatandavam, highlighting Telangana’s rich artistic heritage. Sri Perini Pavan Kumar and his team presented the traditional dance form, bringing the energy and warrior spirit associated with Perini to the occasion. The event also featured addresses by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, an interaction with the author, the official unveiling of the book, and a media interaction on the inspiration behind the book and the author’s journey. The evening also included the felicitation of Sri Perini Pavan Kumar and Mrs. Sandhya Pawan, along with the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, in recognition of their presence and contribution to the celebration.

Balvindernath Chaganla is the author of ‘Becoming the Divine You – Awaken the Power Within to Find True Happiness’. His writing emerges from a personal journey involving introspection, travel, spirituality, yoga, meditation and an interest in understanding human experience. Through this book, he brings together his reflections on spirituality, psychology, emotions, awareness and the search for meaning, inviting readers to undertake their own journey of self-discovery.
