Moira Presents NIFD Global Indore Times Fashion Week 2024 Concludes with a Spectacular Show

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India]:  The third season of the NIFD Global Indore Times Fashion Week 2024, presented by Moira Group, concluded on September 29, 2024, after three days of breathtaking fashion displays, stunning collections, and star-studded showstoppers. Held at the Grand Sheraton Hotel in Indore, the event featured a mesmerizing blend of cultural and contemporary designs, brought to life by India’s top models and budding designers from NIFD Global, Indore and Bhopal.

Day 1: Celebrating India’s Rich Heritage and Recycled Fashion

The fashion week kicked off on September 27 with a grand opening ceremony, attended by Moira Group Chairman Mr. Vimal Todi, NIFD Global, Indore Chairperson Sadhana Todi, along with Pramod Lokhande, Managing Director, & Punit Sureka, Director, NIFD Global, Indore with other dignitaries. The spotlight of the day was on the talented fashion students from NIFD Global Indore and Bhopal, who presented collections on 12 unique themes across four rounds.

With themes like Blooming India, the ramp witnessed a fusion of India’s vibrant culture through modern silhouettes. Other standout themes included Rock & Roll, Folk Mythical, and Retro Glam, where the models strutted in designs inspired by India’s traditional and global fashion narratives. The focus on eco-friendly fashion was evident, with students using recycled materials and digital prints to create high-fashion garments, blending sustainability with style. This fusion of past and future, under the mentorship of Sonika Bhagat and Saurabhkant Srivastava, received high praise from the audience.

Day 2: A Feast of Festive and Wedding Couture

On September 28, the second day featured a stunning array of bridal and festive wear collections. Designers like Reshma and Riyaz Gangji took center stage with their exquisite bridal creations, while Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary wowed the audience as the celebrity showstoppers for Shadi by Marriott. Traditional Indian outfits adorned with zardozi, patchwork, and threadwork dominated the runway, with pastel hues and vibrant colors making for a visually stunning spectacle.

The evening saw another highlight with the presentation of Farha Sayed’s collection for Jhanjharia Jewellers, where actress Bhagyashree graced the ramp as the showstopper. The beautiful fusion of traditional wear and contemporary elegance left the audience spellbound, further establishing the day as a celebration of India’s rich cultural tapestry.

Day 3: Star-Studded Finale

The final day, September 29, was a grand culmination of the event, featuring designs from Saurabhkant Srivastava and Narendra Kumar. Actress Sanjeeda Shaikh stole the show as the celebrity showstopper for Moira Presents Tamishka by Narendra Kumar, delivering a fitting end to the three-day extravaganza. The evening was further enlivened by the appearance of Moira Group’s Chairman Vimal Todi and NIFD Global, Indore Chairperson Sadhana Todi, who joined the showstopper for a walk down the ramp.

The day also featured festive collections from Reliance Trends and a special appearance by the city’s renowned women’s group INMO, showcasing a beautiful collection titled Rit Rivaaz.

Other highlights of the day included the playful energy of actor Tahir Shabbir, who modeled for Saurabhkant Srivastava’s collection – Kashi Presents: A Beautiful Life, captivating the audience with his lively performance. Actor Vatsal Seth also impressed as the showstopper for Praveen Srivastava’s wedding collection – Vivaah, leaving the audience in awe of the elegant designs.
