New Delhi, [India] May 14, 2026: Renowned Goa-based entrepreneur, social contributor, and philanthropist Dr. Vinod G. Shirodkar was conferred with the prestigious ‘Rashtriya Samman’ at a grand ceremony held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on April 25, 2026. The honour was presented by acclaimed actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut, in the gracious presence of distinguished personalities from across the country. Dr. Shirodkar received the award alongside his wife, Dr. Beena Shirodkar, whose unwavering support and encouragement have been a constant source of inspiration throughout his journey.
Dr. Vinod G. Shirodkar recently pursued his PhD in Law from Goa University, a milestone he attributes greatly to the motivation and guidance of Dr. Beena Shirodkar.
A successful businessman by profession, Dr. Shirodkar serves as the Director of the REAL Group of Companies, Goa. Under his leadership, the group has established a strong presence in multiple sectors including beverage manufacturing through REAL Drinks Pvt. Ltd., hospitality through Cafe REAL, and distribution businesses under the banner of Agencia REAL.
Beyond his entrepreneurial accomplishments, Dr. Shirodkar is widely admired for his deep commitment to social welfare and community development. He actively supports youth initiatives in sports, education, and extracurricular activities, firmly believing that every child deserves care, encouragement, and understanding.
Over the years, he has significantly contributed to several prominent social and cultural events in Goa including Carnaval, Shigmo Utsav, Bonderam Festival, IFFI, college festivals, Goa marathons, and numerous community initiatives.
