The primary objective behind this record-breaking endeavour was to promote artistic abilities and creative skills in remote areas. The event showcased the traditional Warli painting technique, narrating the events leading to the construction of the grand temple of Lord Rama at Ayodhya. The venue for this momentous event was the picturesque Bhesdara village in the Dharampur area of Valsad district.

The function was graced by esteemed Chief Guests, Commissioner of Police Ajay Tomar (Surat City) and Arvind Patel (MLA, Dharampur), who recognized the significance of this artistic achievement. Notably, the event garnered the presence of distinguished Guests of Honour, including Saints from Uganda, Nihar Saraswala (World Records Foundation), Dr. Vimal Rathi (Awareness Trust), and Durriya Mustufa Tapia (Moovers Charitable Trust).

They emphasized the foundation’s commitment to nurturing and showcasing artistic talent in remote areas, fostering a sense of cultural pride and heritage.

The ‘World’s Longest Religious Painting Depicting Entire Ramayana’ not only stands as a testament to artistic brilliance but also serves as a cultural landmark, preserving and promoting the rich heritage of the Ramayana. The choice of Warli painting, with its deep-rooted cultural significance, adds an extra layer of authenticity to this record-setting accomplishment.
