Distribution of educational materials by Rotaract Club of Pune Baner and various collaborating Rotaract clubs at Sishu Vihar Primary School of Pune University Branch

Pune (Maharashtra) [India]: Distribution of educational materials by Rotaract Club of Pune Baner and various collaborating Rotaract clubs at Shishu Vihar Primary School of Pune University Branch of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha. On the initiative and concept of club president PHF Rtr. Daiwik Karria, in this year’s Ganeshotsav, the members of the club appealed to the people to offer school materials instead of sweets or fruits to Lord Ganesha.

Nearly 3000 booklets, books and writing materials were collected from relatives, friends, residential societies, Ganeshotsav Mandals etc. All these materials were distributed among the students by the Rotaract club members in the presence of school principal Vijaya Barate.The children expressed their happiness by clapping their hands.

The Rotaract Club of Celestials, 

Rotaract Club of SSPU, Rotaract Club of Pimpri Elite and Rotaract Club of Humanitus collaborated  in compiling all these school materials. Apart from Pune, these materials were also distributed in School in Chinchwad.

On the occasion, Daivik Karia, President of Rotaract Club of Pune Baner informed about how the overall functioning of the organisation is done at different levels. Anurag Lunawat, Aniket Lunawat,Ishan Sonawane, Yash Zumbare, Mrinal Joshi, Krishna Lokhande, Niharika Doshi, Shujan Syed, Maitreyi Bhave, Viraj Vaishampayan, Harshvardhan Shelar, Mihir Mule,

Mayuri Chavan and Aditya Panchal were present on this occasion. “There is a great need for such organisations in the society and at such a young age, youths like you are aware that you owe to the society and you are doing a very good job”, said Principal Vijaya Barate in her speech. She thanked the club members saying that their work will help many people in the society through their organisation.
